PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS doesn't have to mean wedding photography  It doesn't have to be formal, it doesn't have to be traditional and it shouldn't be a chore…… As a freelance photographer my pictures have appeared in magazines such as Tatler, Observer Magazine, Cosmopolitan Brides, House & Garden, Vogue, Harpers & Queen, New Woman, Time Out and Q Magazine.                         Other clients have included Selfridges, Harrods, Burberry, Joseph, Roberto Cavelli, Sunseeker Yachts, Sainsburys and Marks & Spencer. The Designer Wedding Show & ModernBride. I have also worked for charities such as NSPCC, Human Rights Watch, Farm Africa, The Childrens Society and The Stroke Association. One of my major clents is Condé Nast Brides Magazine for whom I shoot real wedding features.  My pictures can be seen in many issues. It is my experience in fashion, beauty and portraits that I bring to the private commisions I undertake. I shoot in a relaxed, discreet and informal way avoiding clichéd poses and too many lineups. I will provide you with a wonderful record of your day, photographs that will capture your day and your personalities, a complete visual diary of your wedding day. You can take away all the pictures that I shoot on the day, providing you with a disc of high resolution images and a dedicated website for your family and friends to view which will also enable them to order their own reprints and enlargements. Depending on your price option, prints and albums are also provided. Please use the links on the left to view my work. Please be aware that the portfolios are created with ease and speed of viewing in mind so do not represent the quality of the original images, during your consultation you will have a chance to see a printed portfolio and a selection of sample albums of complete weddings. Frequently Asked Questions What areas do you cover ?    I travel all over the country  in the course of my work, shooting frequently  in Scotland, Wales & Ireland. I specialize in Destination Weddings having worked in USA, Austria, Poland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Holland amongst others. What do you charge for destination weddings ? Please contact me for destination wedding prices. There is a small premium for overseas shoots to cover the additional travel days with all expenses charged at cost.On a typical overseas shoot I prefer to travel the day before the wedding and travel back on the day after. Do you have experience of different types of weddings ?  Yes, I've photographed C of E, Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Greek and Humanist ceremonies  and of course I'm happy to shoot civil services and civil partnership ceremonies. How many weddings have you photographed ?  I have to admit I've lost count but probably between 350 and 400 ! Do we meet before the wedding ?  Yes, meeting my clients beforehand is very important to me. It allows us to get to know each other a little before the day and to discuss all elements of your wedding photography. Do you provide albums ?  Albums are included in several of my packages and I am happy to supply albums at any time after the wedding, from small soft back storybooks to large traditional leather albums from suppliers such as Graphistudio. I can show you a full range of samples if required. Are there any extra costs ? The only extra charges are any travel or location costs such as parking, taxis, train or airfares. Mileage is charged to any wedding over 50 miles from my base in Hastings.  Postage and courier costs will also apply if the pictures cannot be collected in person. Will you shoot any group shots ?     Of course,  I'm happy to photograph any groups that you wish. Any specific requirements can be discussed at the client consultation. Can we have a second photographer ?   Yes, If required a second photographer can be provided. Cost depends on the amount of time the photographer is required for. How long do you stay ?   I normally start with the Bride (or Bridegroom) getting ready through to the first couple of dances, this can be tailored to your individual needs. Do you have insurance ?  Yes I have full professional liability and indemnity insurance. Can I print my own pictures from the disc you provide ? Yes, the images on the disc are high resolution images without any watermarks, allowing you to produce your own high quality prints.  If using a commercial printer you may require a letter of permission from me which of course I am happy to provide. Do you require feeding ?   Although there is no stipulation in my contract regarding food, it is a long day for me and a hot meal at some point is very welcome. Of course I don't expect to sit at a table, a quiet corner where I can draw breath is all that I ask ! How long before we see our pictures ?  I usually arrange to have the photographs ready for you on your  return from your Honeymoon, with the website live at the same time.
